Deborah has been involved with animals most of her life. She was very involved with 4-H & FFA and then went on to train horses.
She started with German Shepherd Dogs as a youngster and that love followed her to adulthood.
She has added Border Collies to her life and truly loves and admires their awesome workability.
She began her herding career with GSDs in 1987 and in 1993 became an AKC Herding Judge. She is also an AHBA Judge.
She competes in AKC, ASCA and AHBA, having earned many titles with many breeds on all courses, and all stock.
She has handled Border Collies, Australian Shepherds and a Bearded Collie to Herding Trial Championships.
She trains and handles All Herding Breeds for others in all venues.
And really appreciates the trust the owners put in her to train and handle their dogs to their fullest potential.
Deborah likes working with all the different Herding Breeds and admires each breed for being able to do what they were originally bred to do!
It has been an immense Honor to be asked to Judge the many AKC National Specialty Herding Breed trials over the years.
